DESCRIPTION

Reproduction of a 1940s naval aviator's chukka boot. Built by a factory that provided supplies for the US military during World War II. American grade-A, full-grain, medium-weight, rough-out, struck-through leather from cattle ranches in Nebraska. Leather sourced from a tannery in the USA that has been in business since 1872.

Rough-out leather uses the full grain of the leather with the smooth side in, eliminating the need for a separate leather lining. Long wearing and comfortable while allowing the foot to breathe naturally. Authentic soft toe and heel counter true to military specifications. Steel shank for long-lasting stability and arch support. Closed-seat Goodyear® welt construction. Oak-tanned leather midsole ensures comfort. Long-wearing, oil- and chemical-resistant, fully replaceable neoprene work outsole. Hand-cut, oak-tanned leather insole with a cushioned heel pad. Cotton laces made to original military specifications. 4" shaft height. Leather. Made in the USA.
